Rev. Dr. Winston Watson, Senior
Pastor
Currently, Dr. Watson servers on the board of
directors of ACE (American Caribbean Experience -Atlanta, GA),
and he chairs the management board of Tavares Gardens School
(Kingston, JA).
Dr. Watson was born on the island of
Jamaica but migrated to the United States as a minor child. He
returned to Jamaica after residing in the United States for
over 30 years.
Dr. Watson attendended the Edison Bible
Institute in New Jersey and in 1986, he was called into
the full time ministry and he enrolled at Rhema Bible College
to complete a two-year course in Pastoral Ministry.
Although credentialed in religious studies, Dr. Watson post
graduate degrees are in Management and Information Technology.
He holds and MBA and PhD in Business with a specialization in
Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Watson has worked for
such companies as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Greater New
York, CBS Incorporated, Chemical Bank NA, CHASE, Shearson
Lehman American Express (Consultant), Sloane Kettering Cancer
Center, Memorex Telex Corporation and several other fortune
500 companies in the United States as a Management and Systems
Security consultant.
Rev. Watson served for several years as Youth Minister and
Wednesday evening teacher at his local church in Tulsa. He is
also involved with Christian Outreach Ministries
Evangelists which ministers to prison inmates at Oklahoma
prisons in Cushing, Taft and Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has led
intercessory prayer groups and was lead teacher for over a
year for over eighty 4-5 year olds at Rhema Bible Church. Rev.
Watson was a member of Rhema Bible Church, Pastored by Kenneth
Hagin, Jr, Church on the Move, Pastored by Willie George and
Amazing Grace Christian Center, Pastored by Jerome & Yourlunda
Steele during his years in Tulsa.
Dr. Watson has
developed a new work on the island of Jamaica, Christ Alive
Jamaica. Dr. Watson has ministered in
churches across the island and taught at the Ebenezer Bible
Institute in Mandeville, Manchester. He taught such subjects
as: The Holy Spirit and His Gifts, Divine Healing and
Deliverance, Church Leadership, and Principles of Prayer.
